The best plan to chill on a Sunday?
First stop has to be The Museum Of Contemporary Art Detroit (aka MOCAD) and Cafe 78. They offer espresso and light meal choices. Usually on Sundays during the summer they have DJs providing the music soundtrack to the Cafe 78 experience. For later in the day, Belle Isle Park is a great place to relax on a Sunday for a walk, bike ride, or simply relaxing. It is a small island off park in the Detroit River located in downtown Detroit.
