Tuscany DJ and producer Luca Agnelli has a unique style that transmits passion and adrenaline, dreams and emotions, and doesn’t classify his sound within precise boundaries whereas it is quite easy to perceive house roots with contemporary techno. Founder of Etruria Beat records, Luca has released on notable labels including Soma, Drumcode, Planet Rhythm, Safari, Labrynth, Paranoid Dancer, Be as One, Truesoul, Desolat, Four Twenty and MBF, with 2017 set to welcome further releases on OFF and his own Etruria Beat imprint. After playing in a number of key clubs, we asked him to picked out his 5 favorite venues around the world.

Input [Barcelona]

Located in the surreal Poble Espanyol, Input is one of my favourite clubs. It’s dark and warm, not too big but big enough to create a unique atmosphere, it also has a really amazing configuration of LED walls and lights with one of the best sound systems in Barcelona!

Spazio 900 [Rome]

Inside the historical building “Palazzo dell’Arte Antica”, Spazio 900 is one of the best clubs in Italy. Every week they have really important line-ups with top DJs, a powerful and quality sound system, and the crowd is very warm and interactive.

Ressonancia [Sao Paulo]

A fantastic venue located within an abandoned factory that fills up with over 4000 clubbers until 10am! I will never forget playing here!

Movement Festival [Torino]

Movement is definitely amongst the best festivals on the planet. It was a great experience to play there, the people and crowd erupt during and after every track. It was a magical vibe, and I can’t wait for next years edition!

Dockyard Festival [Amsterdam]

I played this festival twice in 2017 but in two different locations; once during the ADE edition in October and once back in May.

Both events were amazing, but the Warehouse edition in May was incredible! I played in the Cathedral stage and I was really fascinated by this unique location.
