As you may know by now Dure Vie & Hard Life like to bring you the cream of the crop of fresh releases. This week we bring you Pleasure Cruiser aka Nic Liu, recently signed to the highly respected UK party promoters & newly formed record label High Hoops – priding themselves in their incorporation of “house, disco, techno, electro and anything in between”.

Nic has been working on Tokyo Horoki (Tokyo Wanderings) for over 2 years whilst living in Ota-ku. The end product of this journey is a two-part EP – the first part features tracks recorded with Shinichiro Yokotaa long time friend and collaborator of Soichi Terada on Far East Recording and more recently Rush Hour.

Tokyo Horoki also features the enchanting vocals from Ayako Higa, Chara and Wakana Hrt.

Part two features collaborations with Okayama upstart Keita Sano.

Pleasure Cruiser has been acknowledged throughout the industry with exclusives on Stamp the Wax and XLR8R this month.

Pleasure Cruiser’s unique sound, vocal and producer collaborations definitely make him one to watch for 2018.
